Modern Boho Free Printable Wall Art Download Set
You all know I am a frugal decorator and printable art is a great way to change up a look for less. Adding art to your walls is a key component of designing a room and definitely one that I do not overlook. But over the years I have learned how to be resourceful when it comes to wall decor because it can be expensive. Luckily I have come up with many affordable ways to get a piece of wall art you love.
In this room I was going for a modern boho vibe with lots textures, faux plants, leather, and black and white decor.
While many boho art stock photos use bright colors, I kept things simple with black, white, brown, and tan to compliment the other elements in the room. While it’s not exactly a traditional boho color palette, I didn’t want the art to compete with the other elements in the room like the wood slat bed and dresser. As usual, I used plain black frames with white mats that I had on hand. But these simple boho prints will work in a variety of different picture frames and you can use whatever fits your style.
I chose a free spirit inspired abstract print with a lot of curves and rounded edges since most of the other items in the room have a more geometric shape with linear and square lines. Keeping with a traditional style I used simplified boho rainbows facing multiple directions. I hung these wall art pieces in groups of two flanking the large window in the center of the room.
How to Print Free Printable Boho Art Prints
I am often asked how to go about using a free instant file download like this and how to get them. But I promise you, it’s easy peasy!
First, you will need to subscribe below. Once you have confirmed your email address you will receive instant access via a download link to my free printable library. I also include an additional link in all my newsletters in case you lose it 😉
Once you are in my library you will have access to all my free printable designs, art pieces, and labels I have created including my giant printable word game as well as fall, Halloween, Christmas, and other seasonal decor. These are all in pdf format, Jpg, or PNG format and can be downloaded and printed on regular printer paper on your own printer or have professional printing done at a local print shop.
The best way to print these is to use a good quality paper and make sure you either have fresh ink or at least enough ink. I recommend using 24lb paper which is just a bit thicker than normal 20lb and doesn’t wrinkle as much. You can also use white card stock if you have it on hand. For clean prints I do not recommend using glossy paper because the ink tends to smudge on highly saturated images like these.
You can also print these in various sizes up to an 8×10 which is the default. To print a different size select photo size in the printer settings after you click print and you will see a list of different sizes you can choose. Depending on your frame size you may need to trim down your paper after you print it. I also recommend using a small piece of painters tape on each side of the print to hold it in place on the back of the mat.
Once you have printed your free modern boho wall art, simply add them to picture frames and you have a new trendy look for your home decor! These free art prints can be oriented in any position, vertical or horizontal and can even be flipped in the frames if you prefer an alternative look.
