Spooky Spider Halloween Tablescape
Hey guys! It is officially fall and while I have been dragging my feet on fall decor around here, I have convinced myself to have a little fun with Halloween this year! I usually don’t decorate for Halloween because decorating for ALL the holidays is a bit overwhelming especially since there are three in a row in less than threes months time! But I was feeling inspired and decided to do a Spooky Spider Halloween Tablescape this year!

I was inspired to take on a little Halloween decor this year when I saw all of the fun decorations out at Wal-Mart! Yep, Wal-Mart. They had tons of little pumpkins and other fun Halloween things to add to everyday decor for super affordable prices! Seriously, I spent less than $10!
You all know I love tablescapes, so I decided on a black and white spooky spider tablescape. I mean, why should the kids have all the fun on Halloween? Can you say grown up dinner party? 🙂
Spooky Spider Halloween Tablescape
If you have seen my tablescapes before you already recognize some of the items here. I am a firm believer in white dishes because they cross seasons and holidays with very little effort, are absolutely timeless, and never go out of style.
The paper runner, (yes, that’s paper!), is a simple trick I found at Hobby Lobby earlier this year for my Spring Tablescape. It’s actually craft paper that comes on a roll and it was on clearance for $1.50! What an easy and affordable way to change up the table huh?
I used some crystal candlesticks we got for our wedding with black taper candles for a more dramatic look. The bats are actually foam cut outs I found at Wal-mart for $0.98. They could also be used as place cards with a white marker or chalk!
To display my black pumpkin and glittery spider, I used a glass cake stand I had stashed in the basement from our wedding sweets table. The white and black pumpkins also came from Wal-mart ($0.98!) and I displayed them on upside down black mesh office supply cups. I don’t recall exactly what I originally purchased these for, but sometimes my hoarder tendencies come in handy 😉
For less than $10 I managed to pull together a Spooky Spider Tablescape fit for a grown up dinner party!

I have an unusual question: was there an all White pumpkin made by this company? Thank~You, Shari 🙂🙂🙂
Thank you! I put this together several years ago and unfortunately I just cannot recall what colors they came in. I’m sorry!
