Modern Industrial Mirror
For a while now I have been on the hunt for a new mirror for above our buffet table in the entryway. Originally, I hung this mirror which I already had.
When we first moved into That 70s House, we wanted the house to look nice but we didn’t have tons of time to pine over every little detail so I made use of a lot of items we already had. This was one of those items. It was fine, but given the time to think about it, I decided something more substantial with a beefier frame would look better. I kept an eye out and then one day I spotted this mirror at HomeGoods.
I snagged it for $100 and brought it home. I loved the industrial aspect of the metal and the texture to the layers which I thought would play well off the more traditional, mid century buffet. And at 36 inches in diameter, it definitely met the size requirements I was after.
Ironically, everything in this picture except the buffet itself is from HomeGoods! I tell you, it must have been meant to be 🙂 So what do you think?
