Sometimes the holidays can feel a little overwhelming. This year in particular has been a unique one and many people are looking for a little extra holiday cheer. So let’s break out the Christmas jammies and all the Christmas movies and make this season bright.

DIY FAUX FUR CHRISTMAS WREATH

An easy decor idea: a faux fur Christmas wreath with large "N" and "EL" letters spelling "NOEL." Hung on a dark door with a sparkly gold ribbon, it offers festive charm. A small caption reads, "No Sew DIY Faux Fur Christmas Wreath.

This is one of my all time favorite Christmas decorations I have DIYed. It’s neutral, simple, and can cross over to winter décor. You can easily customize the style and colors to work with your home and the best part is, no sewing required! The truth is I would love to be an amazing seamstress and create beautiful home décor with my sewing machine, but sometimes things just aren’t meant to be, haha! For all of you who can relate, this DIY is for you 😉

MODERN BLACK & WHITE CHRISTMAS PRINTABLES
A modern living room showcases elegant Christmas decor, featuring a decorated tree beside a window. A brown chair with patterned pillows sits in front of gray curtains, exuding an easy charm. A minimalist Christmas tree print hangs prominently on the wall.

If you have been here for a while, you know I love a good seasonal art print. They are quick, easy, and inexpensive! The holiday season is usually only a month or two depending on when you start, and I have a hard time spending tons of money each year on new décor. Printable art is a great way to change things up without feeling guilty or breaking the bank. You can get access to my full printable art library here.

MODERN CHRISTMAS HOUSE TOUR

A decorated Christmas tree with lights and ornaments stands in a cozy living room, showcasing easy holiday decor. A shelf with festive touches and a small Christmas tree is in the background. Text at the bottom reads "Modern Christmas House Tour" with a website link.

As I said above, I have not started decorating for Christmas just yet, but after turkey next week, its GAME ON! Until then, here’s a look at one of my previous Christmas House Tours. This year is definitely going to look a bit different because we just finished a major overhaul on the family room for the Fall One Room Challenge and even added a new DIY cable railing. I am so excited to see this room decked for the holidays. Stay tuned.

DOLLAR STORE CHRISTMAS TREE HACK

A small white Christmas tree, perfect for easy Christmas decor, is adorned with colorful ornaments like Santa, a cupcake, and a crown. It stands on a wooden block base. Text at the bottom reads: "Dollar Store Christmas Tree Hack" with a website link.

When I say this one is budget friendly, boy is it ever! I literally spent $1 on this! There is just something about a little Charlie brown style tree that makes my heart smile. Call it nostalgia if you want, but I had so much fun turning this cheap Charlie Brown tree into a cute piece for my holiday décor! I even did a second one in green. They are perfect for themed trees, sentimental trees, and kids rooms too!

SCRAP WOOD HOUSES

Two wooden house shapes stand on a white background. The foreground features pinecones and red berries, evoking a festive feel. Text reads "Easy DIY Scrap Wood Houses" with a website link, perfect for Christmas decor enthusiasts.

I created these scrap wood houses a few years ago when modern Christmas houses started popping up at Target, Crate and Barrel and other big retailers. After Christmas they became a permanent piece in my regular décor since they are so neutral. The best part is, they are just as easy. I even had someone write me and say they were too easy! Is there really such a thing?

No matter what you are looking for this holiday season, there is something here for everyone. Maybe you need just a few extra things to change a look up or maybe you want to start fresh this year. Either way, I’ve got you covered! Also, Thanksgiving is ONLY a week away!
